[Gmsh] A question about interpolation

Dear GMSH,

Now I am trying to visualise some of the higher order elements, for
example a 2nd order triangle. In particular, I am trying to understand
how to interpolate a surface over a triangle given 6 points.

I am familiar with Lagrange interpolatory polinomials for interpolating
lines, squares, and cubes. However, it is not obvious to me how this
formalism is extended to interpolating a triangle.

I would be grateful if somebody could explain this or direct me to a
book/publication explaining this procedure.

Regards,
Aleksejs
