[Gmsh] command line option

Dear Jean-Francois,
       It seems I have trouble to use the command line option of gmsh in
cygwin (version 1.45). For example, gmsh -help or gmsh -version gives me
nothing. I also can not get the message while it is running (default
verbosity is 2). Please help.
      It is working fine in the interactive mode.
