[gl2ps] Charater set

Hi,
I have a little problem to insert text labels from the OpenGL scene to the
gl2ps rendered scene. The labels managed by my software have the ISO latin-1
encoding and PostScript and PDF format use the Adobe character set by
default. Is it possible to "switch" from Adobe to ISO latin-1 character set
? I'm looking on the Web in order to find a conversion table between two
encoding format, but nothing is present.
