<div>I am trying to create a 2D mesh around a circle. I would like a boundary layer mesh of quadrilateral elements adjacent to the circle, and then an unstructured triangular mesh elsewhere in the domain.</div>

<div>I have made the attached .geo file, which seems to work fine for linear elements. However, when I switch up to 2nd or 3rd order curved elements I run into problems (see attached images).</div>

<div>Does anyone have any idea what I have done wrong.</div>
