[Gmsh] TET meshing from TRI ?

Yes.

With Gmsh 1.65, your surface mesh has to be in ".msh" format. Then just 
follow the steps in demos/sphere-discrete.geo.

With Gmsh 2.0, your surface can be in any mesh format you want.
