[Gmsh] Gmsh binaries beyond version 1.65?

Hello all,

If this question has been asked before, I apologize.  I have probably
missed the answer.  Are there any plans to publish binaries beyond
version 1.65?  I noticed that the latest version available for download
stops at 1.65 (around May 2006) and there are no binary updates after that.

Of course there are nightly CVS sources available but I hesitate to
embark on the compilation route, if I can avoid it.  Has the publication
of binaries stopped because of the complexities of supporting multiple
OS flavors?  Any advice?  Thank you.
